Broomhill Grange Edwinstowe.(Childerens Meet)

A field of 80 gathered at Broomhill Grange Edwinstowe kindly invited by the Bealby family. The largest field to meet at Broomhill  since the pack formed back in 1980.Robert and the team layed on a very well planned day to cater for the childeren and the adults too.Many fences were lowered for the childeren to 14 inches and some good 4 foot drop hedges were thrown in for the adult thrusters, field mastered  by Mike and Graham.Many thanks to David Kitching for looking after the Non jumpers and it was great once again to see David back in  the saddle.The day compromised of three lines which in moderate scenting conditions were a challenge to the huntsman and hounds to catch their quarry,The hounds worked tremendously threw Badger Hills,Newlands Forestry to catch their qurarry finally at 3.30 back at Broomhill.Thank you to Jane and her team for kindly inviting us back after Hunting for warm soup, cobbs and delicious cake follwed by a cup of tea!! to round of a perfect days hunting.Last but not least thankyuo to the Shaw-Browne family for their generosity too in allowing us to cross their lands.
