The Readyfield charity ride took place at Readyfields Farm on Sunday the 24th August. Once again a large entry of riders entered the ride around the farm and parkland jumping approximately 30 opptional fences, covering ten miles.  All the proceeds from the entries, sponsership, raffle, food and kind donations on the day all go to the City Hospital in Nottingham for Cancer and Heart Research. The total raised this year was £1700, which added to the grand total means this event has donated £25,474.00 since it was first started by the late Peter Boddy founder of the Hunt.

One of the most important aspects of the Readyfield Bloodhounds Hunt is the fundraising we do for charity.  Each year we donate to local charities somewhere in the region of £4000.  This is our way of saying thankyou and acknowledging the privilege we receive, for being allowed to hunt over the many landowners, farms and shooting country.

We shall publish all our donations and give you feedback on the charities we support.
